Make the nail switch!

It’s time to switch up your nail vibe and adopt these seasonal nail trends, direct from Mavala HQ in Europe. Whether your go-to nail look is a French mani or you have been using pops of vibrant colour during summer, these looks will give you a fresh tone for the chilly season ahead.
Brown Tones
Brown nails in all hues and finishes will reign supreme, following in the footsteps of the 2025 Pantone Colour of the Year, Mocha Mousse. Coffee-inspired manicures offer a versatile and sophisticated aesthetic, sealed with either a gloss or matte top coat for two different looks. Dark chocolate browns scream high fashion… rich, warm and bold – yet more wearable than black.
Deep Burgundy
Deep burgundy and red-wine tones are elegant and timeless, a must shade this autumn / winter to add into your fashion and beauty looks. Rich and vampy shades are a classic and can be worn with a glossy or matte look, depending on your style. Don’t forget to use a base coat to ensure the bold tone doesn’t stain your nails.
Icy, ethereal and metallic accents
Expect to see shimmering ethereal shades like frosted blue, chrome-like pearl or glazed silver encapsulating the essence of falling snow and frost. These is a wonderful way to inject modernity into your next French manicure with multi-coloured frosty tips or simply to accessorise with a textured, futuristic look.
Moody Hues
Mini Color 474 Fez
This trend is reflected with deep jewel tones like dark ruby, sapphire and emerald for dramatic flair. Neutrals will be updated to reflect an earthy and rustic vibe with shades of olive green, dirty/mustard yellow and yellow and burnt sienna.
Ballet Slipper Pink
Mini Color 56 Riga
Understated ballet slipper pink is set to be ones of this year’s biggest (and prettiest) colour trends, both in fashion and beauty. A new neutral to carry through to your next manicure, surprisingly wearable and universal in appeal.
BB Cream Nails
The ‘skinification’ trend trickles down to nails, taking its inspiration from the BB Cream, a 2-in-1 makeup and skin care product. Think of this manicure as a hybrid aesthetic/treatment in one. The result is soft, opaque-looking, semi-sheer nails that are understated and not overdone.
The Naked Manicure
Continuing on the clean-girl aesthetic, natural and healthy looking nails are here for good. More of a ‘nail investment’ mindset, it’s all about using quality products and treatments that will help improve nail health and therefore the appearance of nails and a manicure. Regular cuticle care will help nails grow and a nail strengthener will reinforce strength and prevent flaking. Also, don’t forget to apply a cuticle oil daily to nourish and hydrate. This will not only prolong the length of your manicure but also ensure your nails look their best on days you go polish free too.
